BODY

Robust, muscled, high on the legs. The back legs are higher than the front legs.

HEAD

A triangle shape with a long, straight profile and a lightly sloped forehead.
Strong chin.

EYES

Big, open and slightly almond-shaped

All eye colors are permitted

EARS Big and slightly pointed, preferably with lynx tips.

COAT/FUR Semilonghair. In the winter the coat has a wooly, thick undercoat with a slightly greasy top coat. Full collar and knickers in winter.
The coat is shorter on the shoulders
 
TAIL Long and full with fur even in the summertime.
The tail has to reach the place between the shoulders.
 
COLOR All colors  - except color-points and the so called X-colors

The clearness of the pattern is of no importance.
