EMS-CODES
On the pedigree papers of various breeds you will see codes, the so called
EMS-codes. EMS stands for
"easymindsystem".
These codes define the breed, color, tabby pattern and eye color.
The code for the Norwegian Forest Cat is "NFO".

NOTE: - 's' stands for silver, but also for smoke! When you have a tabby-cat
with 's' involved, then we call this silver; when
we have a non-tabby cat we call it smoke.
