BUYING A KITTEN

PURCHASE:

When you want to purchase a Norwegian Forest Cat kitten, ask yourself if you want a male or a female. Or maybe this makes no difference when you fall in love with a particular kitten.
Very often I hear people say that you should take a male when you already have a female in your house and vice versa.
In my opinion this is nonsense. Two males could fight with each other, two females could do this and also a female and a male could do this.
It will all depend on the different characters of both cats! Their sex is not important.

A kitten will be accepted by your resident adult cats quite quickly. At first they might not be very polite to the new kitten. They will probably grumble and complain and maybe give the new kitten some smacks on the head, etc.
This is all normal. The kitten won't be very upset; he was used to these things when he was with his mother, his brothers and sisters, and my other adult cats.

ORDERING A KITTEN:

When you are looking for a kitten at my place, you are not obliged to buy one!
Just look for the kitten you like the most, and maybe I won't have the kitten of your dreams here. Then you'll have to go and look for a kitten from another breeder. I don't want to sell a kitten to someone who wants something else!
I'm happy to provide referrals to other breeders when I don't have the right kitten for you.

Just like you are not obliged to buy a kitten from me, I am NOT obliged to sell one of my kittens to you.

SALE:

When you fall in love with one of my kittens and want to buy it, I ask for a deposit. In return, you will get a receipt. This guarantees I won't sell this kitten to another person.
You will get this money back if something is wrong(for instance, a health problem) with the kitten.
However, if you cancel the kitten, this deposit is not refundable.

SELLING CONDITIONS:

I won't sell kittens to:

1)People who are not at home most of the time and who don't have other cats
2)People with very young children who don't have other cats
3)People who let the kitten walk freely outside their house
4)People whom I feel can't give the kitten the right attention
5)People who give me 'strange vibes'
6)People who don't give the kitten a real family life in their family
7)I don't ship kittens to foreign countries when the kitten has to travel alone by plane

NOTE: It's of no use to ask for a kitten when you can recognize something of yourself in the points I made above. I will stick to my principals because I want the best for the kittens who are lovelingly pampered by their mother and me.
